Heat recovery unit URC-D

URC high-performance ventilation units with heat recovery have been designed and developed for non-residential applications and make it possible to combine the need for air exchange with maximum energy savings; they specifically meet the requirements of Regulation EU 1253/2014.

By their nature, these units are generally integrated in traditional heating/cooling systems and can be used in an entirely autonomous manner.

The series, in a horizontal configuration (with optional kit for vertical conversion) is available in seven different sizes for nominal air flows ranging from 450 to 3400 m3/h.

Characteristics
- Self-supporting structure with infill panels, th. 22 mm in galvanised sheet metal, externally pre-coated in a RAL 9002 finish; bottom cross-bars in galvanised steel for anchoring to the ceiling
- Non-flammable thermal and acoustic insulation in mineral wool
- Static, high-performance (>80%) air-to-air cross-flow heat recovery unit with aluminium exchange plates and additional sealing, complete with bypass system, already motorised; aluminium condensate tank with double lower 1/2” F drain
- Compact filters with media in synthetic material (outer layer) and glass fibre (inner layer) and frame in galvanised steel, in efficiency class ePM10 50% (classification as per ISO 16890, corresponding to M5 as per EN 779) on room return and ePM1 50% (classification as per ISO 16890, corresponding to F7 as per EN 779) on fresh air intake, extractable from below. Each filtering section is already equipped with a control pressure switch wired on-board the panel, and able to house two filters in sequence
- Backward curved centrifugal fans with free running impeller directly coupled to EC technology electric motors
- Ready for air-to-water coil
- Built-in type electrical cabinet with electronic regulation and remote user interface for complete control of all the characteristic functions

RECUPERA DUCT units are suitable for use in atmospheres without aggressive, corrosive, and/or potentially explosive agents, which may otherwise affect and irreparably damage their components and structures.

Composition
- Supply fan and extraction fan (EC modulating type)
- High-performance heat recovery unit with integrated motorised partial bypass
- Filtering section in intake sides in efficiency class ISO ePM10 50% (M5) on room return and ISO ePM1 50% (F7) on fresh air intake
- Electrical cabinet with Controller and electrical Terminal block
- Removable panel for side air outlet
- Controller in electrical cabinet built in to the unit and adjacent to the supply fan section, with connected NTC temperature probes (positioned on external air, return, expulsion and supply) and remote interface for setting and viewing of user terminal operating parameters (Crono TH)
- Dirty filter differential pressure switches
- Differential pressure sensor for regulation of fresh air flow at constant flow rate
- Damper complete with servomotor, positioned in the fresh air intake duct

Accessories supplied separately:
- internal coil for heating/cooling;
- vibration damping joint;
- connector for circular ducts;
- pre- and post-filters for integration with standard filters.

In the RIGHT version, the supply fan (and therefore the aeraulic connection for the flow into the rooms to be treated) is found on the right of the electrical cabinet. All the other air intakes are therefore uniquely determined.
All the air intakes can be adjusted by 90° by shifting the end side closing panels, even on-site.
The KTV conversion kit for the vertical configuration of the unit does not modify the aeraulic arrangement defined above.
