Thermic insulation ISO GUM - 9 mm thickness
Download HD imageThermic insulation ISO GUM - 9 mm thickness
ISO GUM pipe in expanded elastomer - 9 mm thick.
Uses
- Thermal insulation of hot and cold water piping
- With special vapour barrier characteristics, which by avoiding water vapour diffusion, protects the insulating layer against humidity
- Supplied in 2 metre bars
- For external installations, ensure suitable protection against weathering and UV rays
- For buried installations, ensure suitable protection against humidity and direct contact with the ground (use of external sheathing recommended)
Construction
Obtained by extrusion of closed-cell elastomer (synthetic expanded rubber)
Technical data
- Temperature of use: -40 °C ÷ +110 °C
- Thermal conductivity at 0 °C: 0.033 W/m K
- Thermal conductivity at 40 °C: 0.040 W/m K
- Density: 60 ± 20 kg/m3
- Fire reaction class: BL-s2-d0 (UNI EN 13501-1)
- Water vapour diffusion resistance (μ): 10000
- Designation code (EN 14304): FEF - EN 14304-ST(+)110-ST(-)40-MU10000-WS01-CL500-pH7
Installation
Since the length varies with changes in the fluid temperature, it is advisable to compress the insulating pipe by about 5 cm per metre and to glue or tape the junctions between each piece
Example reading
Model C 18 - 3/8" - DN 10 - 16x2
C = Insulation type as per DPR 412/93
18 = copper pipe Ø
3/8" = steel pipe Ø
DN10 = nominal Ø
16x2 = multilayer pipe Ø
