Emmeti safety valves
The Sicura safety valves can protect domestic water heaters, solar systems, and water systems in general. They are typically used in heating systems with closed expansion tanks that have a capacity of less than 35 kW (30000 kcal / h), and their purpose is to drain the water if the limit pressure is reached.
Heating systems must adhere to the rules outlined in the Ministerial Decree of 01.12.1975 if their capacity is larger than or equivalent to 30,000 kcal/h (collection R ed. 2009).
They are diaphragm valves with fixed settings with high lift and direct reaction spring; the calibration screw cannot be tampered with without irreparably damaging the valve; the shutter membrane is guaranteed by non-stick characteristics and inalterability in prolonged use; the calibration pressure is embossed on the cap located at the top of the valve; a protective cap prevents any accidental manual opening: to operate the knob, it is necessary to remove the cap.
All valves are subjected, after calibration, to a hydraulic and functional test.
