Energy Box Compact, 4 ways valve

The Energy Box Compact module for metering of thermal energy consumption (heating and cooling) is suitable for the independent management of heating and cooling needs in individual building units and to reduce consumption.
With the added advantages of using modular boiler rooms with condensing boilers or high-performance heat pumps, it is easy to understand how centralised systems are being once more considered the ideal solution for apartment buildings.
The zone valve is controlled by the temperature control thermostat of the single building unit, thus allowing each apartment’s thermal zone to be separated from the centralised distribution network.
Thanks to the DN20 4-way zone valve with bypass flow driven by servomotor powered at 230 Vac, pressure drops can be implemented when the 4-way valve is open so as to stabilise the operating conditions of the centralised system.
Moreover, to facilitate the balancing of the apartment block distribution system and prevent potential disservices caused by higher transfers of fluid in certain modules to the detriment of others, a calibration and balancing gate valve is supplied standard and installed on the fluid supply line to guarantee the rated flow rate for each residential unit as per the design.
The module is assembled in a galvanised metal box, L=600 mm, for built-in installation, with white painted frame and door, equipped with key lock.
Composition
- DN20 4-way zone valve with bypass flow driven by a servomotor powered at 230/50 Hz
- DN20 ball valve with third bypass branch
- DN20 impurity filter
- DN20 calibration and balancing gate valve for heating and cooling circuit
- DN20 ball valve with M10x1 supply probe connection
- DN20 ball valves with integrated check cartridge, on domestic water lines
- DN20 ball valves with pipe union for energy meter
- Galvanised sheet metal box with plasticised door and frame, with key lock, for 120 mm wall
Ready for the installation of a DN15 or DN20 energy meter.
