Press fittings for gas
Gaspex Emmeti press fittings have been designed to be installed with the radial pressing technique. This type of junction has achieved growing success in plumbing and heating systems. It is now also adopted for gas supply systems due to the extreme simplicity and speed of installation, combined with the high degree of safety guaranteed.
The plier, specific for each diameter of the fittings, compresses a stainless steel bush that blocks the hose on the hose connector of the fitting, determining a joint with maximum stability and durability characteristics. In addition, the particular contour of the fitting and the double O-Ring ensure tightness.
The Gerpex fitting comprises the following components: a brass body, a nylon bushing ring, a dielectric, a stainless steel bushing, and a double NBR sealing O-Ring.
