Vertical deaerator
Download HD imageVertical deaerator
Vertically installed deaerator.
This deaerator allows separation of the air that normally accumulates in solar heating systems, from the water.
The gases separated from the fluid are collected in the top part of the deaerator and must be evacuated through the dedicated manual vent valve, with a special key.
The vent valve should be operated every day during the initial system run-in period, and subsequently once a month, then eventually once every six months.
Once the air has been discharged, check the system pressure. If necessary the pressure will need to be increased to the required value.
Technical data
- Maximum operating temperature: 140 °C
- Maximum operating pressure: 10 bar
- Kv: 6.5
- Fluid: water, glycol solution
